Basic Qualifications
Our Co-Op Program considers students who have completed their freshman or junior year of college and must be able to complete at least two, non-consecutive work assignments. In addition to the appropriate degree and major, there are additional qualifications you must meet to be considered for a We Energies co-op opportunity.
- You must be a full-time student enrolled in a four year college or university.
- You must maintain a minimum of a 2.8 out of a 4.0 overall grade point average; or for master’s students, a 3.2 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
We Energies employs co-op students for fall, spring, and summer work terms as well as during winter holiday breaks. Co-op students generally commit to work more than one term and alternate school and work terms based on a schedule developed jointly by We Energies and the student’s school. A co-op may be hired for one or more terms based on business needs and the student’s performance.
